Cross Plains

Cross Plains is a village located in Dane County, Wisconsin. Cross Plains spans an area of 35.4 square miles and has a population of 3,084.

The town of Cross Plains was settled at the intersection of two major military roads. Within 20 years of Cross Plains' first town meeting in 1847, two adjacent villages, Christina and Foxville, had been established. By 1920 these two adjacent villages had been incorporated into Cross Plains.

The rich history of Cross Plains is evident in its small town streets and local stores.
